The website has been fully transferred to the new servers and software upgrades will be taking place over the new few weeks. Although we don't anticipate anymore unexpected downtime Murphy is out there.
99% of the upgrades should be transparent to everyone; occasionally you will see a page or 2 under construction while individual programs are replaced and/or updated IE the member database will be down for the next 48 hours and then will be working as intended.
As the restoration occurs our goal is to keep the look, feel and function of Popasmoke to remain as it is now with a newer software to ensure the site doesn't "go down"

Relax,lad.,yer doin' just fine. Ya can't have progress without some change. Unfortunately,some of us old,shaky guys don't embrace "change" well. Most of us can only be considered 'dangerous' when it comes to computer literacy.
It's just that this "shut-down" ran slap-dab up against my installation of a by-gawd.., brand spankin' new..,faster than spit in a back draft,quad core,1 TB hard drive,4 Gigs memory,Win 7 Home Premium OS.
Kept getting the "Cannot connect to server..,blah,blah,blah" message when trying to access PAS. Went thru the standard checks to no avail. I'm doin' beau-coups head scratchin'.
Brother Joe Reed set my only mind at ease & told me that the SITE was down. :rolleyes: "AAh-h-h" LOL
