Attention all Deadlocks and Hostages: VMO-2 Reunion 2004 Update #2 5FEB2004

Everyone who is a paid up member of Pop-a-Smoke should have received your registration package in the past week. If you didn't get one and plan to attend get on the web site www.popasmoke.com and get your dues for 2004 paid. Don't forget to get your completed form and payment sent in by 15 May and avoid the late fee of $50.

The VMO-2 dinner on Friday evening will be at the Hilton - no designated drivers needed. We are planning on having a Western Buffet and are working out the details with the hotel to determine what we'll be serving. We will pass on the menu at a later date. The dress will be informal, jeans and cowboy boots optional.

The cost of the dinner will be $40.00 per person and the Hooch contribution for Refreshments and stuff is $20.00 per person for a total of $60.00. We will need everyone who is planning on attending the Friday dinner to be paid up by 1 June in order to get final numbers to the hotel. There will be a no cost special VMO-2 lapel pin for each paying attendee based on the eagle/air medal patch. Also don't forget the auction being set up by Wally Beddoe. Check the web site NOTAM board for more information.

We still need volunteers (nasty word) to help with handing out the reunion registration packages to squadron members and guests. We are also looking for folks to help out with the booth and the hooch. If you wife was as bored as mine was - you know, watching us flying with our hands, maybe she would like to help at the VMO-2 desk for a couple of hours Thursday or Friday. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
