Hello Deadlocks and Hostages,
Another month closer to the Reunion in RENO. The list recently published on the Pop-a-Smoke web site has quite a few names. We are looking forward to the list expanding as we get closer to the summer. Now if we can get those who signed up to send their money for our Friday Night Squadron Dinner we'll be making some real progress.
The "powers to be" have decided that the dinner will be a Western Buffet. The menu will have four cold selections to include Sliced Fresh Fruit, Summer Vegetable Salad, Tossed Green Salad with Three Dressings and a Three Bean Salad with Roasted Corn and Black Beans.
The Hot Selections will be Rotisserie Chicken, Slow Roasted Pork Chops and Grilled New York Steak Accompanied by Nevada Pasta (whatever that is), Baked Potato with Sour Cream and Chives along with Chef's Medley of Vegetables. Along with this comes Freshly Baked Biscuits, Cornbread and Butter.
For dessert there will be Apple Pie, Strawberry Shortcake, Pecan Pie, Berry Pie, Peach cobbler, Chocolate Cake, Tapioca and Almond Squares.
Also Coffee, Hot Tea, Iced Tea and Milk.
Your cost per person including money to operate the Hooch and Hospitality Room is only $60.00. That works out to only $5 more than Pensacola in 2002.
Send your checks to Chuck Burin, 165 Chaparral Drive, Apple Valley, MN 55124
