Passing of MSGT Wilson D. "Moe" Shelton, USMC (RET)
MSGT Wilson D. "Moe" Shelton, USMC (RET), flew west on Sunday morning, June 28, 2009. Moe had been under hospice care in Concord, NC for a month suffering through multiple brain tumors. Moe was an individual with many friends, no enemies - a friend to all who knew him - a "good ol' boy".
Dian Shelton will provide additional details as funeral arrangements are completed. Moe served with VMO-2 (OV-10's) from '69 through '70 and served later as a USMC Drill Instructor.

Services for Moe Shelton - 2 July at 12:00
Gravesite Services for Moe will be held at the Salisbury National Cemetary in Salisbury, NC at 12:00 on Thursday, 2 July 2009. All are invited to attend. The Cemetary is located approximately 40 minutes north of Charlotte, NC along Interstate 85.
