Gentlemen:
I am writing to inquire if after action/after mission reports exist in reference to Deadlock 30 actions on 9/4/67.Specifically to time frame early afternoon(approx.1300-1400 hours) in which Deadlock in support of Cottage Mike (M co. 3rd bn.5th mar.reg) used guns and c.s.gas to repel attacking battalions of enemy NVA troops. As one who benefited from those actions I am curious if anyone (flight crew) recall those actions, and if possible, would like to speak with them. The action took place the first day of Operation Swift in the Que Son Valley, 22 miles south of Da Nang, map coordinates BT 095336.
