I'm currently in the process on upgrading my disability hearing loss. I am at 0% right now and have had high frequency lost since my discharge in 75. My question is ....what are my chances on getting 10%.

I've also had 4 heart attacks over the last 15 years,(all treatment done by VA) did I read somewhere that the VA gives a disability for heart related problems?

Charlie you have a better chance of getting 10% for tinnitus (ringing of the ears) than hearing loss. They should also help you with heart related problems connecting it with PTSD and stress.

re:Va Question

I've allready told the Va that I don't have "ringing in the ears". My response to them was because of my high frequency loss, If I did have it, I could hear it anyway! I'll ask them about the heart problems, thanks for the heads up.
