For those eligible for medicare part D, the VA might provide as good if not better pharmacy service than the medicare participating pharmacies.. It is worth checking out and they have a wide range of medicine.

The VA web site has a section listing all the drugs dispensed by them.

This would also apply to military retirees that don't live close to a Military Treatment Facility.
