Several years ago i was rate at 10% for Tinnitus and 20% for Diabetus. I just recieved as the result of a reevaluation requested by the VA a upgrade because of nuropathy and other related heart problems a new rateing of 50% but nothing for the tinnitus. When i called the VA they said that it was a computer program and because the way my rating was setup 20% for nuro. 20% for Diab. and 10% for heart probllems that the 10% for the tinnitus was not added in it just seems to have disappeared what is with that? did my hearing get better? can any one give me an expanation for this

Tinnitus

I'm think'n it's probably because of VA math. You know, where 10+10=10 and 10+20=20 and 20+20=30 and 20+30=40 and so on and so forth. So, your 20 for Diabetus and 20 for nuropethy and 10 for heart problems and 10 for tinnitus would eaqual 50. 20+20+10+10= 50 becuase of something about being divisable by 10 or something. Anyway, 10% for any heart thing sounds low to me.

Good Luck
