I have a requirement to document my military flight time; is there a way to get my logbook out of USMC records storage?

My job in the USMC was Operations (S-3).

All of the pilots that got RELAD or Retired kept their Flight Log Books and NATOPS Jackets.

As far as documenting your flight time the only way I could think of is, you would have to go through National Archives and go through each units flight records for the years that you were in or flew with if you were in prior to 1980.

If you were in after 1980, the Marines were using FREDS and there should be a record of your flight time with the Naval Safety Center.
