All - Larry Tidwell, of our group HOMELAND, sent me an email about a Marine Vietnam Veteran, William Osburn who lives in Jemison, AL. He is diagnosed with cancer and has asked to be visited by Marines before he dies. I spoke with American Legion, Second Division Commander, Steve McAnally this AM and he said Marine Osburn has stomach cancer and has been sent home by his doctor to die.

The Marine Corps MAFIA (Marines Always Faithful In Action) are planning to grant this wish and will meet on Wednesday the 28th in his hometown to personally visit him. We have also requested support from MAFIA Members / Marine Corps League's Commandant's Dave Gardner, Cal Walters and A.B. Grantham.

I realize we can't all visit but if you wish to send an email comment, letter or prayer to our brother Marine, please forward them directly to me as he does not have email. I will print them with your info, bind them into a booklet give them to him with a special card. I plan to speak with his daughter Angela today to see if we can provide any other assistance.
