Marines & Devil Docs

Doc & Patti Proutey's son was murdered last night in North Carolina. Josh used to run around the vendor area when they were doing the SNAFU desk in PCola. They can really use your prayers right now.

Re: Prayers needed (really necessary here)

πŸ™ Non of us can ever know day to day what can happen to US or our extended Family . When I happen to see about it on face book My lump come to my neck and a sick feeling. One can never prepare for things like this. I met these Folks and Josh at my 1st pop-a-smoke Reunion 2000. He was about 8 and then got to see him a couple years ago as He was planning on going into the Marine's.. We are blessed to have been able to have our paths Cross. God Put your arms around these folks as they endure this Loss. God Speed

Josh was a kind, loving, compassionate and gentle soul, who loved playing jokes as proven by his selection as "Most Likely to Play a School Prank" of his West Johnston High School Class of 2011. Josh enjoyed playing his guitar, surfing, fishing, motocross, cooking, gardening and spending time with his many friends. Fun followed Josh everywhere he went and he never knew a stranger. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Eric James Proutey. He is survived by his dad and mom, Don and Patty Proutey; sister Julie Rogers and husband Tim; brothers, Jason Proutey and wife Shelly, Ben Proutey and wife Garrietta, Joe Gabello and Carols Proutey; nieces and nephews, Emily Proutey, Jack Proutey, Megan Proutey and Timmy Rogers; maternal grandfather, Harry Erway; second family, Maryanne and Andy Johnson and their children Sean and Paul; and his "cool cat", Kitty Snoop-Lion.
