Hello,
I am a good friend of Jim LeJeune's. I don't know if he had time or opportunity to notify you, his dear friends that he fell and broke his leg and is in the VA hospital in Minneapolis. Through a series of events, pneumonia and some other complications, he is having a very difficult time and is in poor health. I know both he and Donna would appreciate your thoughts and especially your prayers. I am just "replying to all" on an email he sent me so I hope that is ok. Thank you.

To Friends of Jim LeJeuene,
I am Jim's brother-in-law, Rick Trethewey. I'm writing to get the
word out to Jim's friends that he has been hospitalized and is very
sick. He broke his leg in September and developed complications in
the hospital. His wife Donna has set up a web page on the Caring
Bridge website to keep family and friends informed about his
condition. The website address is
http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jimswampylejeune You are invited
to visit this site to get details on Jim's condition and to sign the
Guestbook there. I apologize to anyone who received this message in
error. Just reply to this message and I'll remove you from this
list. Thanks very much.
Sincerely,
Richard L. Trethewey

Swampy ain't going down without a fight. Had the pleasure of spending a few days with him at a VMO-6 mini reunion in Valparaiso . Indiana 1 August 2009. Jim is banged up---but you can't keep a good Marine down.
