Brother Angels:

The reunion dinner plan has been finalized. We are booked into the Silver Peak Restaurant and Brewery for 1900 on Friday 9 July. The SPR&B is located at 124 Wonder Street, Reno, NV 89502, which is east of Virginia Street between Wells Avenue and Holcomb Street. Your Cabbie or GPS will know the way.

Dinner will be on the restaurant’s deck. Whether we have it to ourselves or not depends on our turnout. If we can muster a hundred Angels, we own the deck! Anything less and we have to share, so sign up early.

In the interest of keeping your expenses down, the BOD has decided to go with a buffet that will cost $28 per person. The price includes the gratuity and taxes. Not too shabby for what’s included. The menu we have selected follows:

Baby Mixed Greens Salad w Assorted Dressings
Slow Roasted Prime Rib or Atlantic Salmon
Rosemary Roasted Red Potatoes & Assorted Grilled Vegetables
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream w fresh berries

If you plan to break bread with us, send a check or money order for the appropriate amount ($28 per person) made out to Tom Hewes (not UAMF) to 21 Turtle Creek Way, Fredericksburg, VA 22406. Since I’m leaving home nearly two weeks before the reunion starts to do a little fishing, I need your dinner check no-later-than 15 June. That, by the way, is a no shit date – no check, no din.

Sorry, but you can’t pay me at Reno or pay cash at the door. We tried that in Las Vegas in 1996 and got stiffed for three lunches.
