Sunrise Assault by Red Lions!
From LtCol Hugh Tillman:
A couple photos from the Red Lion Mission. The cloud trails you see were from our aircraft just prior to the insert. The 2nd photo is of two CH-53's just before landing. Some potential bad guys awoke to the Marine Corps knocking at their door at sunrise.

Squadron Mess Night March 2009 Canceled!
From Lt Col Hugh V Tillman:
Sir,
I wanted to give you an update. We are still planning an early Feb 09 return to Hawaii. Unfortunately our Mess Night planned for March has been canceled. As soon as we get back 1/4 of the squadron will redeploy to Yuma, Arizona for training and will not be able to make it. A change of command is still planned for 27 Mar. The new commander, in case I hadn't mentioned it, is LtCol John Dobes.

Lt Col Hugh V Tillman,
This is so awesome. I came across this forum one long night during night shift. I was with the red lions when you were Major Tillman. This is great. I see some familiar faces in some of the pics. I thank each and everyone of the Red lions for their service to our country allowing my family and myself enjoy our lives. Thank you so much. CWO4 Hopley I see is still there. This is great. Thank you guys so much for your service once again. Semper Fi.
Lt. Col. Tillmon
Sgt. Noah, Brandon R., you would be kindly surprised just how many Fellow Marines are still in our Marine Corps. That is Great. Staying in for the long Haul, protecting us, and our Country. Many stay in until they just can not stay another Day. That is just tremondus dedication. Semper Fi, and READY-APP.
