Gentlemen,
I am writing in regards to a project I have been working on during our deployment to Iraq. The proceeds are for the Marines in the squadron so they won't have to pay for the ball this year, or if they need to pay as little as possible.
The project is a squadron beer stein in the shape of Olaf. It is a 3-D stein that is Olaf's head and the lid is his hair above his halo. The stein also represents the squadron's first combat deployment and the latest here in Iraq. Around the base will say "From Soc Trang to Al Anbar. Go Ugly!"
On the Banner below his face will say "Ugly Angels" and on the two small
banners will say HMH and 362 respectively. On the bottom of the steins
will have a serial number of 400, ie 200 of 400, and the artist's
signature. They are 32oz and cost $80 which includes shipping from
Hawaii to where ever one is at the time. You don't have to be a beer
drinker to get one, it is just a piece of memorabilia that carries on
with aviation squadron's tradition with mugs and all.
All proceeds go towards the Marines in the squadron paying as little as
possible for the ball and hopefully some sort of Ugly Angels reunion
upon our return and to commemorate the Squadron's 55 years of
excellence.
If you could please pass on my email address to anyone that you think would be interested it would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone would like a picture or more details feel free to send an email. Once again thank you for your time.
