When a lot of us hit MMAF--- security was 1 strand of concertina wire, we had no refers, only fresh meat was in the bread of the midrats spam sandwitches, and you only got a hot water shower if you were first in line at 1600.........now were grip'n about a parking space. I am truly thankfull that my Marine Corps hasn't changed, I have no doubt I'd have another heart attack if Juggies quit bitch'n, I luv it. You guys plan it, I'll be there....
FYI, I checked with Southwest Air, it will only cost me about $100 more to fly in and would save me 18 hrs of windshield time. Thats with gas @ 3.50, you might want to give it some thought.

Park at the end of the metro line

As a former employee at the Beltsville USDA center, I recommend parking your vehicle at the end of whichever Metro line is along your travel path. For example, if you come from the north, get rid of your car at the end of the Green line. Check out this option, call a buddy and share a ride into the hotel, or take the Metro into the city. A little coordination will save you the $23 per day. You could buy an extra round!
