I tried to make reservations to fly into Reno today and had a difficult time getting close to what I wanted. Delta claims it's because of the holiday. Just wanted to say you might want to get your flights scheduled early.

Sounds like another "luck of the Irish" situation. If you are close to someplace that has Southwest, you may try them.
Southwest has some REALLY good prices if you can fly Teu, Wed, or Thurs.
I'd also suggest Southwest for anyone else as well. I have been able to get round trip tickets (on a 14 day advance) from Seattle to places like Manchester and Norfolk for $320.
Just go to the Southwest web site and see what you can do compaired to other carriers. http://www.southwest.com
