I am deleting these posts from the NOTAM Board because they are not in the best interest of the Association. To quote the Articles of Incorporation, also known as the Association By-laws, “The purpose of the Corporation is to preserve and promote the camaraderie of those U.S. Marine Corps pilots and aircrewmen who flew helicopters during the Vietnam War”. These types of posts do not promote camaraderie, quite the opposite they cause dissent. It disturbs me to read some of the things that have been written about the officers and SLJO’s of the Association. These people are volunteers and put a lot of time into the Association. They don’t deserve the derogatory remarks that are aimed at them. It also disturbs me to see comments from people who have not paid dues in years complaining about how the Association is run. Their remarks would be more credible if they thought enough about the Association to join it. Lastly, of the 2500+ paid members in this Association, only a handful of people are unhappy that they can’t post whatever they want on the NOTAM Board.
