Aaron's brother, Steve, a former Army Special Forces Soldier, is a friend of my Dad's and specifically went to my Dad asking for assistance with the Marine Corps. I was told by the family that Aaron absolutely loved his Marine Corps and was proud to be a Marine.
There are two long lost Marine buddies that Aaron was trying to get back in touch that the family would like to inform of his passing. If any of you know these Marines, PLEASE contact me immediately and I will get them in touch with the family. You Marines have resources within one another that I do not so, ANY efforts to help locate them would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!
The two Marines they would like to get in touch with are:
Dewart Hughes - he knew Aaron in Okinawa
Craig Spevel - met at Fort Sill, Artillery Training and since
Dave Randolph, also a former Marine was riding with Aaron and sadly, was also killed in the attack.
