This email is from Peter's nephew Tyler. Peter died yesterday morning (19 June 2008) in Fort Lauderdale of complications following kidney surgery 2 days before.
His funeral service is being held on Monday morning at 10am at the South Florida Veterans Administration National Cemetary. 6501 S State Road 7. Lake worth, Florida.

......... Pete had been a squadron pilot with HMM-363 and HMM-362 stationed at Ky Ha during 1966-67. He was a very good pilot and, if possible, an even better poker and bridge player. He had been in poor health for the past few years and was active with his DAV pals in south Florida. Pete and I stayed in touch for the past several years. He will be missed.
