Bill passed away peacefully with his wife Donna at his side, on his seventy first birthday.

He served in country with HMM-365 and HMM-161, plus numerous stateside squadrons.

He will be missed. God Bless The Warrior.

The old warrior will be buried at Dallas-Forth Worth National Cemetery, June 3, 2011. There will be a small gathering of greying eagles from HMM-365 Vietnam there to put him to rest. Semper Fi, Bill.

I'm so sorry to hear of Wild Bill's passing. He was one of the kindest, thoughtful friends one could have. He will be missed.

I'm going to miss Bill. He was a very kind and considerate individual who always took time to say hello to me at the reunions. Losing friends is hard.
