Gentlemen; I'm the Chaplain of the McLemore Detachment #324 of the Marine Corps League. We have a program that is called "The Fallen Marine", which if the fallen Marine is in the greater Houston Galveston, Texas we pay Honor to that Marine and to his Family/Wife. If the Marine who has answered his final roll call is out of our area or State I send the Family/Wife a MCL condolence card. James R. Moriarty told told me about your web page and I would like to give to your group of active/non-active Marine who might anwers their fiinal roll call the same Honor. I receive the daily DOD news of those lost in Iraqi Freedom/Afghanistan and I received phone calls from funeral homes here in Houston, and I make sure their families/Wife know that there some other Marines who care about their loss also. Since March of this year My Detail has made 20 presentation and I have sent out 72 condolence cards 54 have been Iraqi Freedom. In the future could some one notify me when you have a member pass I will send a condolence card to their family or to a funeral home. If you would like to find out more about the Fallen Marine you can go to the Galveston MCL's web page and bring up the full lay out of The Fallen Marine Progran their site is:
