Sgt. Ronnie L. Freeman

I would like to notify the Popasmoke members of my husbands passing on November 10, 2006 in Brea, California. After his 4 years in the Corps (1966-1970), Ron attended Fullerton College and Cal State University Fullerton. He then went on to a 27 year career with Union Oil of California.
He fought a courageous 9 month fight with bladder cancer, which we believe was caused by Agent Orange. In the tradition of the Marine Corps, Ron's last battle was fought as bravely as his first. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to notify all his fellow Marine Brothers both past and present in HMM-361, HMM-362 and HMH-363 of his passing.
