Gentlemen,
I received this e-mail today. I first met Ralph at our 2004 reunion in Reno. Struck me as a good person. If I find out further information, I'll post it here.

I am sorry to inform you that he has recently passed away.
The funeral arrangements are being made through the Washburn-McReavy (Coon Rapids) branch and will probably be mid to late next week. If you would care to contact them, the phone number is 763-676-1000.

Guys, Here's the latest info that I have received from Ralph's sister

Thank you so much for your prompt response and for notifying everyone else.
The arrangements have been made and the visitation will be next Wednesday
from 6 - 8 p.m. with the services on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. and the burial
following at Fort Snelling. Yes, he will be missed by many.
