Ed was better known on this website as "Hotguns", for his humor and brilliant writing skills. He was a Plank-Owner of the Tomball Takeover / USMC Texas Rotorheads. If you search under "Tomball" in the Popasmoke Photo Archive you will find several pictures of Ed. In spite of his failing health, he had the gift to always make you smile or laugh from way down deep inside. We are proud to have called him our friend and miss him terribly.
Rest in Peace, my friend - you deserve it.

never forget
There are few times that I feel at a loss for words. The call that came last night to tell me about Ed was one of them. He was someone you just thought would always be around.
Funny stories, always smiling . .making us laugh. That was Ed. Then, at a Tomball gathering, he showed us his scrapbooks from Vietnam. The photos, the poems he had written . ."It's how I've worked through it," he told me. In that one day I learned who he was.
The sadness is deep,
But, we shall not weep..
The memories sustain...
There's no more pain.
We miss you, Ed .. and we will not forget.
