Col Perryman departed this earth on his last flight on 12/31/2013. He had slipped and fallen on ice on 12/15 and was in an induced coma, but never recovered.
He was a great Warrior and humble to a fault. I will post funeral arrangements once I get them from LtGen McCorkle.

Jim's obituary will be published in both the Washington Post and the Fredericksburg FreeLance-Star newspapers on Sunday 5 January and Monday 6 January 2014. Further, it will also be carried on the web site for The Miller Funeral Home located in Woodbridge, VA
The family would like to inform funeral attendees that following the service, refreshments will be served at the home of Jeff and Malinda Perryman at 3200 Riverview Drive Triangle, VA.

Larry! I believe Col Perryman was in HMX-1 , 71-----
Good person and great friend as I was able to know him in Nam and after, I do have some picturews of He and His wife at some reunions. God Be with The Family>
