Please post the following obit which I discovered in the Memphis Commercial Appeal. Sgt Gibson was a member the VMO-6 Metal Shop in 1967-68:

"ROBERT LEWIS GIBSON, JR.,born December 24, 1943 died Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at his home in Millington, TN. Robert served 26 years in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired as a Master Sergeant. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 7175 in Millington. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Mickie Jo Gibson and two sons, Robert L. Gibson III and Jody Scott Gibson; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, November 8, with services at 11 a.m. and burial in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery in Millington, TN..."

I flew with Bob in Nam and we worked together at his last Marine Corps assignment at MATSG-90, Millington, TN. No doubt he is now serving "Chesty" and GOD in his last Duty Assignment!
