Lt. Col. Roy Jack Edwards passed away November 27th, 2003 in Dallas, TX. Jack was born in Oklahoma City, OK, July 4, 1922. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1941. He was a 1947 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. He served his country in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Assignments included Senior Instructor, Modern Naval Weapons Systems at the U.S. Naval Academy; Development Officer of Unguided Weapons at the Pentagon; and Commanding Officer of HMM-265 in Vietnam. He retired in June of 1970.

I do not know his exact dates as CO of HMM-265. If you have that information, and add it, I would appreciate it. Also, if you have any information on medals please add that too. If you have any questions or request additional information, please let me know.

Thanks!
Joel Benton
