Paul Moore veteran of WW II, Korea and Tech rep for Sikorsky in Viet Nam passed away on 6 August after a lengthy stay in hospice, Paul was the oldest Pop-A-Smoke member, at 97, and one of the first Marine Helicopter Line Chiefs. Paul's knowledge of Sikorsky birds was legendary. He was a qualified Pilot in the UH-34 and also flew the CH-53.and was present during the evacuation of South Viet Nam in 1975. He wrote stories that appeared in the TWS news letter and was one of the best, anywhere.
He was a friend a is already missed by many RIP Paul, we'll all see you soon.

Thanks Joe, very nice tribute. I hadn't heard from Paul in a while and about a week ago was thinking about him. About the same time he passed.
The last time I saw him was in Fort Worth in '06. A great Marine and an old friend. RIP Paul.
