George was a squadron member of VMO-3 and HML-367 and served in Viet Nam January 1968 to March 1969 at Phu Bai with VMO-3 that became HML-367 in early 1968. He also served as a FAC with 1st Batt. 9th Marines 1/9 ("The Walking Dead") from August 68 to Oct. 68. Returned CONUS and was assigned as an ALO at Camp LeJune NC.
