It is with a sad heart that I announce the passing of Edward J. Kozak, a long-time member until ill health forced his retirement. He had been hospitalized at the VA Medical Center with complications due to Diabetes.

Edward J. Kozak, 60, 2400 Wapakoneta Ave. Lot 16, died at 7:20 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2005.
He was born March 24, 1945, in Brooklyn, N. Y., the son of Joseph and Mary Chakirelis Kozak.
On Oct. 29, 1999, he married Margaret Ritchie, who survives. His first wife, Theresa Kozak, is deceased.
Other survivors include six children, Heather Henderson of Jackson Center, Suzanne Kozak of Florida, Joseph and Carol Kozak of Detroit, Mich., Brian Kozak of Columbus, Deborah Kozak and Particia Kozak, both of Florida; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Kozak of Akron and Gordon B. Kozak of Toledo; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was a member of the U. S. Marine Corps, and served in Vietnam. He was a retired tool maker.
Private graveside services will be held. There will be no calling hours.

Note: Ed was a member of HMM-364 "Purple Foxes" and was with MAG-36 that went to Vietnam (Ky Ha) on the USS Princeton in August, 1965. For all who knew Ed, you knew his heart was a big as his sense of humor.
