According to the latest Semper Fi retirement news letter, 1stSgt Carlos Farias passed away 11/04. We met way back in 1968 while stationed at New River. He was an outstanding Marine and a very good friend of mine. I last saw him at our 2000 reunion in San Deigo and had a good time swapping war stories. He served with HMM-265 in Nam.
