Noel passed away on June 9th of an apparent heart attack in Olympia, WA.

The obit follows:

Noel Christopher DeBord passed away June 9, 2009. He had just turned 65.

He was a true renaissance man. He was a great father and a devoted grandfather and so loved by many including his beloved companion of nine years, Karen LaGrave Small.

He was an accomplished artist, a consummate craftsman, a world class sportsman and a reluctant soldier and pilot.

He will be greatly missed by his grand children Evan and Amelie, sons Aaron DeBord, Richard Randall and wife Joy, and Ryan Randall and family. His loving mother Anna DeBord, sister Cecilia Pleshakov, brothers Bill DeBord, Ron DeBord, Jon DeBord and Chris DeBord survive him.
