On Thursday 4 February HMM-362 lost one of its more colorful SNCOs, Archie Fleming whose Vietnam tour with the Ugly Angels in 66/67 will be fondly remembered, along with his waxed handle bar mustache, by those of us who had the honor to have served with him.

Archie’s funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, 9 February in the Broadus-Raines Chapel in Green Cove Springs, Florida, Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating. The family will receive friends in the chapel form 10:00 am until the service. Interment with full military honors will take place at the Jacksonville National Military Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in Archie's name to the military association of your choice.
