I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I received a belated Christmas card and a nice note today from Mac Tweed. The reason his card was so belated was because his wife Mary was very ill over Christmas and passed away on January 8th of this year. I'm going to send a copy of the obituary to Charlie Maddocks and ask that he include it in an upcoming newsleter. I'll also send a copy to Wally for the Notam Board. I've met a few people through the Association that I wish I had, had the honor to serve with. Col. Tweed is one of them. A real Gentleman. Maybe you guys could pass the word on to the rest of the squadron.

Condolences

On behalf of myself, and those who had the pleasure of serving under the command of Col Tweed in Vietnam - our deepest sympathies go out to you at this very difficult time. If there is anything that we can do for you, we're just a phone call away. You and Mary will always be in our hearts.

Semper Fi,
