Subject: Joanne

Gentlemen:

It is my sad duty to inform you that my beloved wife, Joanne, passed away Wednesday evening after fighting Carcinoid Syndrome for twenty-six months.

She left us peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

I will inform you of her funeral arrangements as soon as they are
confirmed.

She would, I know, be pleased if you would remember her in your prayers.

With great sadness,

Tom

George T. Curtis (RIP. 9/17/2005)

arrangements for Joanne's interment

Funeral Mass: 11:00 AM Monday at St. Theresé Church, Route 20, Granby, CT.

Joanne's Passing

Ladies & Gentlemen:

On behalf of our families, please accept my sincere appreciation for your kind and thoughtful expressions of sympathy on the occasion of my wife Joanne's passing. Your e-mails and cards, all of which I will be answering individually in the weeks to come, have been a source of great comfort to me.

You have once again demonstrated what it is that sets us Marines apart – We take care of our own. Thank you for taking care of me.

Semper Fidelis,

Tom
