I came across this obituary in my local paper and wondered if anyone knew him.

Rogers, Johnpaul

Johnpaul Rogers Quincy Johnpaul Rogers, died suddenly at home on Friday, January 3, 2008 at age 60. Born and raised in Quincy, he was a graduate of Quincy Vocational High School. Before enlisting in the Marines, he worked at Electroswitch in Weymouth. JP was a decorated war veteran who served two tours in Vietnam where he was crew chief for Medivac helicopters, and achieved the rank of Lance Corporal.
