Jim was a grunt who was sent to us in VMO-6 at Ky Ha. He had no avaition type experience so he was made the ordnance officer. He liked to fly and became a Huey door gunner. He sure was pissed when he found out he could not get Combat Aircrew Wings! A good guy.
