Today, Pete Quintero, who served as a marine during the Vietnam war and proudlty served his tour with Koler's Klowns in HM 365, lost his battle and went to his last muster.
Pete suffered a massive stroke yesterday, was flown to Houston, TX where he went through an operation to try to save him. He lost his battle at 6:52 PM July 17,2008.
Services are pending, but several Marines will attempt to gather for Pete in El Campo, Tx to help him make his final trip. The family plans to bury him in Houston at the National Cemetery.
Pete was planning to be in Washington. He will certainly be there in spirit.
He was a great friend and comrade in arms, and will be greatly missed.
