Was just notified that Harry Asbury passed on yesterday. Those of you that were in HMX-1 early days will remember him as the first Presidential Sikorsky Rep. He came aboard when President Isenhaur started the task. He was also the Senior Rep in Vietnam when the CH53 was first there. Harry was a rear seat gunner on the SBD aboard the Carrier Yorktown back during the Battle of Midway. He attended the HMX-1 60 th Anniversary at Quantico in Apr this year.
