It is my sad duty to inform you that Ed Norvilas passed away last night. I received an a-mail from Ann Marie (his girl friend) informing me of his passing and she asked that I post it on Popasmoke. I will get burial details when they are available.

Edward Norvilas's passing - Update
As was previously announced, Eddie died at approximately 19:00 hours last night, Sunday, October 3rd, from problems associated with his liver. In-as-much as Eddie had requested cremation prior to his death, there will be no funeral, and any plans for a memorial service, will be announced at a future date.
Memorial Service update
I received an e-mail from George Norvilas, Ed's brother. There will be a grave side service, in the chapel at the Brigadier General Willia C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetary in Wrightstown, NJ on October 28, 2004 at 1300.
The family has requested any donations be made, in his name, to the Meridian Hospice, 4900 Route 33, Suite 200, Neptune, NJ 07753.
