Darrell took his final flight last night. He had been fighting cancer for a long while. Years ago he trekked down to the Wall from the West Coast to assist us in our mission there. On Memorial Day at about 0730 he decided to pay homage to his buds on the Wall. While he was down there, he ran into President Bush who was also paying his respects (with no reporters or entourage). That was about all Darrell could talk about the rest of the day. Godspeed Marine
