Dan Garcia succumbed to cancer on October 18, 2008. Dan served in HMM-265 ’64-’67. Dan was a staff sergeant in the Avionics Shop and served as an aerial gunner.

There will be a viewing from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, October 27, at Hunter Anderson Funeral Home, 36 South Green Street, Berkeley Springs, WV. The funeral, with full Military Honors, is to be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 28, at 11:00 AM, with the burial to follow at the cemetery.

A funeral wreath has been sent on behalf of “The Brothers of HMM-265”.

Dan is survived by his son, Gy/Sgt. Max Garcia, USMC.
