after a 6 month battle with cancer. Mike served with HMM 164 in Operation Eagle Pull and Frequent Wind off of the USS Okinawa. After active duty he served as a squadron pilot in HML-771 at NAS South Weymouth and eventually commanded the squadron when it was activated and deployed to Okinawa during Desert Storm.
