Frank,

Good is a relative term depending on what you believe.

It's all relative.

Ryan,

I agree, but being PC is what's demanded here.

Bad Frank.... :p

Excellent point mods, Frank I am sure VMX-22 or maybe VMM-264 would still welcome you down there to visit and talk to the Marine flying and fixing the birds.

V-22 W/120mm mortar & jeep package..

The MC has always been envious of the Army's 120mm mortar's incredible capabilities and versatility and by couplingi it with a new jeep (though pricey) and carried very quickly anywhere internally where best needed via the V-22 is a win-win for the MC! (Hopefully the MC will spring for the optional GPS/INS with this mortar) What's not to like with this picture? The wingers and grunts both getting what they want and with all new gear?!

Your right guilty as charged.

The other boards Frank has posted on he has shown to be able to take a joke. If not I am sorry Frank.

The invite was again just restating one giving by the members of VMX-22 to anyone who was for or against the Osprey to come do and see it first hand and talk to Marines fixing and flying them. I did with two old frogs and what a blast I had from seeing the school side of things (ordering parts..ie) to flying in the sims.

There is alot of misinformation about the bird out there. Many people don't know that there is 4 to 5 different birds over the years and data on them is swapped back and forth to make points about the bird. One example is the cabin height, at 6'3" I bent my neck side ways once up at the cockpit other than that I stood upright, something a little hard to do in a frog.

Semper Fi,
Ryan
