I'm looking for Gene Creasey, an E-5 Sgt. retread. I went through AFUN, MECHFUN, and Recip (A) school with him as our Class leader in Memphis circa fall 1966. Sgt. Creasey went to Helo school and followed me to New River, arriving fairly early 1967 in HMM-365. Then he disappeared! He was married to a former WM and his home was Arkansas. May have been in Phu Bai in 1968, but I don't know what outfit, or if he was really there or not. ANybody know him or of him??

Eugene Creasey

Good Morning,

I was stationed with Eugene Creasey, then a SSGT, at MCAS New River after Vietnam (1970). He was the Assistant Line Chief for HMM-264. I was a crew chief in HMM-264.

I left HMM-264, when they went on Med Cruise in 1970 or 1971 (I'm not sure about the year), and went to HMM-261.

He did tell me he was from Benton, Arkansas when he found out I was from Arkansas.

There are some Creasey's listed in the Benton phone book. Don't know if they are any relation, but may be a start point.

Semper Fi,

John Adams
US Army (Retired)

Creasey

John,
Thanks for the information! Would you know if he went to RVN prior to your time in 1970 with him?

Just got off the phone with Eugene Creasey: Sept.12. 2006 at 8:30 PM here is his informatio: 3701 West Street, Little Rock, AR 72204 phone 501-565-6218. He told me he was with HMM-262 in Vietnam 1968-69. He told me to pass this on and for you to give him a call. He doesn't have a computer so 262 needs to get in touch with him.

Creasey

I talked to Gene Creasey last night for about 15 minutes.

At first he didn't remember me, but after of few minutes of sharing memorable moments, he said he thought he might now remember me.

I live in Houston, AR which is about 45 miles from his place.

I work at Camp Robinson, North Little Rock, AR for the Arkansas National Guard. If I can catch the COL and SGM looking the other way, I may slip out and visit him

Semper Fi,

Eugene Creasey

Allyn,

Thanks, I will make sure Eugene Creasey is contacted by us, HMM-262. How does one exist without a computer in the USA? I have been using one since the personal computer first came out.

Creasey

Dave,
He'll be very pleased! I think Gene is one of the "good guys" and just needed to know about PAS to have some interest. Appreciate the assistance from HMM-262. You guys have a great site and Gene can more than likely fill in any blank spots.
