In the early or mid 70s I received a letter from the Marine Corp stating that I had been exposed to TB on board ship; it had to be either the USS Boxer or there was another ship that Jim Lattimer and I had boarded and ate in the officers' mess in preparation for a Caribbean cruise in 1968 or 1969. I didn't keep the letter πŸ™ I am working with the VA on a claim for respiratory problems which they rejected for insufficient documentation. My VA doctor said if I could somehow get verification from a fellow Marine that the letter existed, I could possibly appeal the rejection. Would anyone know of or have received a copy of the same letter. Over the years, I have not passed the tine test and have had to have chest x-rays periodically. If you could help I sure would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Gene Day
