Does anyone have a picture of the huey shoulder patch that read "Not much to look at, but extremely well hung". I lost my patch, and can't seem to find a replacement anywhere. I was going to have one made, and would like to have some sort of a picture to go off of. It was a cartoon huey with eyes in the windscreens, and guns and rockets just a blazin'. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Shoulder Patch
Donny,
Check out Al Hinton's web site,...MarinePatches@aol.com.
His basic inventory can be perused from the "Freedom Hill" section on the PAS
homepage listed under Squadron Patches.
If you don't see the item,he can probably tell you where to get it.

Attach a jpeg image of patch actual size to an e-mail, and I'll get 100 made. It will take about 6 weeks from the time I have a good picture to work from. Hope there will be some demand for these. Allyn Hinton

Thats a neat looking patch, I supect some old VMO2, VMO3, & VMO6 guys would love to get one without the N (since we were in B & E modles). Looks like the HML guys did well.....congrats
That is the exact patch I was looking for!! Thanks!! I was trying to find Allyn's website, but no luck. It looks like that was his e-mail address that was posted. Thanks again guys!!

Can us "OLD" guys from VMO-2,3,&6 get a UH1E patch?
Tom Knowles
I'm having this patch made with just UH-1; that way it should cover all models. I should have them in about 6 weeks.

UH-1N Patch
I was with HML-167 when we got the first 6 Marine N models at New River. I never saw that patch before. I know that I'd like to have one.
I just got the first run of the "WELL HUNG" patch. I'm sending one to Wally tomorrow to post. I've got 95 on hand right now, and can get more if there is a big demand. I had the "N" taken off so it just has UH-1 to cover all us old timers that flew the "E" model.
