After being hit by a sniper in Quang Tri RVN I was placed aboard a Marine UH-34 which was struck by ground fire as we took off. The resulting fire required us to land soon and hard. The 4 crewmen pulled me out of the burning bird. A second UH-34 picked us up and delivered us to Delta Med Dong Ha. The D-Med surgeons and this helicopter crew saved my life. Looking for these fine Marine crewmen?
