I am hoping to find the pilot that medevaced my father off LZ Russell when the hill prematurely exploded on 9/21/69.

Alternatively, any pilot that participated in the medevac of the wounded that day to Third Med.

My father was Leonel "Portugal" Silveira. He died as a result of that explosion.
